| 18/06/2009 - Mustangs President Patrick Pace promoting baseball in Iceland |
 |
Mustangs President and Coach Patrick Pace is currently in Iceland working with children in schools in order to promote the sport of baseball. Pace, a CEB Development Coach, already visited two schools in Hlidaskoli and Fossvogsskoli where he introduced baseball to kids attending these schools. Pace also visited two Icelandic towns, Njardvik and Keflavik where he organized a couple of baseball sessions there. Pace has done an excellent job so far in Iceland and his visit has made a great impression on the future stars of Icelandic baseball.

| 05/05/2009 - Mustangs Lose Third Game of the Series |
The 2009 Malta National League Baseball season came to an end last Sunday, as the Mellieha Northenders dominated Game 3 to win their fifth championship in six years. The three- game series between the Mustangs and the Northenders brought great baseball to our local fans along with a few memorable heroics. |

The highly-anticipated weekend saw the top two teams of the regular season, the Mustangs Baseball Club (7-5) and the Mellieha Northenders (12-0), face each other twice to kick-off the Malta National League Championship Series (MNLCS). The Mustangs had improved their record over the last two rounds of the season in order to advance ahead of the surprising Devils this year, while the Northenders broke a Maltese baseball record by becoming the only ballclub to go undefeated through the whole regular season.

| 15/04/2009 - CEREMONIAL FIRST BALL TO BE THROWN AT CHAMPIONSHIP |

The Malta Baseball & Softball Association (MABS) will be introducing the Ceremonial First Ball to be thrown by a guest of honor at this year’s Championship Series. Since this is the first year and also that the series will be played at two venues, MABS is hoping to have the first pitch thrown before the start of the games at both venues. The ceremonial first pitch is a longstanding ritual of to mark the end of pre-game festivities and the start of the game. The guest of honors will be announced at a later date. |

| 10/03/2009 - ROOKIES DOMINATE FINAL GAME OF ROUND 3 |

The Rookies dominated against the Mavericks, beating them seven-to-one in a three inning game. The Rookies took the lead in the first after third-baseman (3B) Mark Cauchi drove in Mike Bartolo on a single to left field. |
